Father Dominic Quinn was born on 5 September 1963. A local man, Fr Dominic was educated at St Kenneth's Primary School and St Bride's High School, East Kilbride, and Blairs College, Aberdeen, before continuing his studies for the priesthood in the Scots College, Rome. Ordained in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, East Kilbride on 6 July 1988, Father Dominic has served in several parishes in the Diocese of Motherwell and was responsible for a time for the former diocesan Pastoral Centre in Newmains. He also has experience as a Secondary School Chaplain and was Chaplain to Shotts Prison for three years. His priestly ministry has also included a spell in the missions in Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. In the period immediately before joining us, Father Dominic was Parish Priest in St Peter's, Hamilton. He took up his ministry as our Parish Priest on 10 January 2017.
 
In addition to his responsibilities as our Parish Priest, Father Dominic is Coordinator of the Faith Sharing Ministry and the RCIA Ministry within the diocese and serves on the Marriage Tribunal.
